 Deputy Dhayer and Phantom

 

Deputy Dhayer is an eleven-year veteran of the Geauga County Sheriff’s Office, and in October 2003 became a K-9 handler. His K-9 partner, Phantom, is a male, two-year-old German Shepherd. Deputy Dhayer and K-9 Phantom are certified through the Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy in the areas of obedience, narcotics detection, tracking, utility, and patrol. Deputy Dhayer and K-9 Phantom have tracked and located suspects, located narcotics in motor vehicles, and continue to strive to keep the streets of Geauga County safe.

 Deputy Lasko and Eliot Ness

 

Deputy Lesko has been in Law Enforcement since 1991 and with the Geauga County Sheriff's Office since 2000 assigned to the K-9 unit. Deputy Lesko has been a K-9 handler since 1997. Her partner, K-9 Eliot Ness, is a male German Shepherd. Deputy Lesko and Eliot are a certified Cadaver Detection Team, through the North American police Work Dog Association. K-9 Eliot can locate human remains on the land and in the water and has assisted many law enforcement agencies, including the FBI on missing persons and criminal cases.

 Deputy Matsik and Marko

 
Deputy Matsik and Marko

Deputy Matsik has been a canine handler since 1985. Deputy Matsik is currently assigned to the Environmental Enforcement Division. His partner, K-9 Marko, is a male German Shepherd. Deputy Matsik and Marko are certified through the Ohio Peace Officers Training Academy in the area of Special Purpose, Explosives Detection and Patrol.

 Deputy Sebor and Ben

 

Deputy Sebor is an eleven year veteran of the Geauga County Sheriff's Office. Deputy Sebor became a K-9 handler in October of 2003. Deputy Sebor's partner Ben, is a two year old German Shepherd. K-9 Ben was born in the United States. Deputy Sebor and K-9 Ben are certified in aggression, narcotics detection and tracking. K-9 Ben has also searched schools, buildings and motor vehicles for illegal drugs. K-9 Ben is very social and loves to meet new people.
